I liked the location of the hotel on the edge of the historic centre that made the city easily accessible. I liked the charm of the hotel in maintaining the historic feel and charm of the original building yet providing modern comforts.

Building with stone walls in room, just great. Quiet quarter. AC quiet too, good for sleep. The location is gold. You are in the north old quarter, just 5 min. walking distance is Cathedral of Saint André (the sunday morning mass 10:30 is to recommend for all religions), with a local restaurant just next to it. The student quarter St. Martin 10 min. away with 200 restaurants and bars. Just 15 min. to The Palace de bourse and Garonne river. Staff very friendly, Breakfast with cheese, ham, eggs, baguette, jam, muesli, tee, coffee, yogurt, etc. The rooms size is adequate, bathroom just fine. Interior is used but clean and proper. We stayed 3 nights there and can recommend it truly.

The location is central, easy walking or trams to all of Bordeaux. Room charming and clean, good air conditioning, spacious comfortable bed, nice staff. Good options for dining and shopping all around.

The hotel had a lovely, rustic charm with friendly, helpful staff. It is situated in an excellent location, central for all that Bordeaux has to offer. The continental breakfast had a very good selection available until mid morning, so there was no need to rush out of bed! There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the vicinity with a great atmosphere especially in the evening.

Situated in a quiet little street between two major ones. Lots of cafés but not right under the window (we had a corner room) ... you will fall asleep to soft sounds of people talking. The room had fabulous design and decor, old wall stones, wood...

The hotel was located in the centre, but in a quiet enclave. It was next to a highly-rated coffee shop as well. The room was comfortable and the right size for myself. There was some basic coffee making facilities. All facilities were clean.

In these days of ubiquitous hotel chains, it is lovely to stay in an old, authentic hostelry. It is smack in the heart of Bordeaux and yet incredibly quiet. It is old fashioned comfort at a reasonable price. Quirky but very comfortable .

Excellent location in a quiet back street away from traffic. All the shops and bars just seconds away as well as access to the bus and tram systems.

Lovely hotel; great staff, have stayed before. We came to play Teal Tennis on the Bordeaux court. The hotel arranged taxi which where prompt and efficient. Plan to stay again next year.
